When we have two terms multiplied, it is called a product!!

 I ask my students to read the question aloud putting the word ‘times’ between the two terms in order to remind them that when we differentiate we must do something special.

That special thing is the Product Rule.

You can have all the types of differentiation as part of a product. Theses examples are typical of the ones  selected for tests and examinations.
