Well now Easter has come and gone, those in the Northern Hemisphere will be getting ready for those dreaded examinations. Help will be available for students at any level in the form of notes on the tough topics with complete worked examples from now until the examinations.
I am off to attend another conference in July in Copenhagen on teaching mathematics and if you want to you can read my paper at the following web site: http://www.icme-10.dk/ then How to contribute then Topic Study Groups then Topic Study Groups Then TSG3 and Scroll down.

Well thanks to my daughter and AceFTP 3 Freeware I have got my site back. Although you would not have noticed as the site kept going but I could not update it. If you find an odd symbol, missing picture or any other type of mistake, please let me know at anne@statistica.com.au
Thanks to NetObjects and Webcentral for their patience when dealing with a complete amateur about computers.
Happy New Year to everyone!! Good Luck to all those doing exams right now. I am in the middle of my summer break and will have to start preparing soon for next semester. Just like all of you I will leave it to nearly the last minute, except I am growing a little wiser with age and start just before the last minute.
Well half the year has gone and half to go. Thank you to all who filled in my survey, I presented my paper in April at Carcassonne, France. It is truly a lovely place and the conference was very interesting. The conference was not just on education but on many different topics from disciplines such as IT, Medicine, Chemistry, Sociology, Aeronautics etc... I will be attending Delta-05 conference at Fraser Island, Australia later on in the year. I held Mathematics workshops in May which were well attended and the students enjoyed and learnt how to cope with Maths exams.
